How It Works

The True View Dental Radiology HIPAA compliant web portal is designed to manage all your imaging needs. 

It’s easy to get started with True View Dental Radiology

1. Register your practice in our HIPPA Compliant webs portal

2. Create a new case:

  • Select “Choose File” and select the images to be uploaded. If uploading Panoramic or intraorals, select the checkbox as directed before choosing the file(s) to upload.
  • Provide the reason for study and any other relevant patient information.
  • Select if the case is urgent (24-hour turnaround, additional charge).
  • Select the Exam type from the drop-down list. 
  • If selecting “CBCT w/Implant Measurements”, select the number of implant sites needed and provide the site locations.

3. Enter the practice credit card information.

4. Our team will get to work on your case. Our standard turnaround time is 2-4 business days. Rush turnaround is next business day.

5. You will receive an email that your case is complete. Login to your account to download the completed PDF report. 


Can I bill insurance for your services? What procedure codes do I use?

  • Your practice can bill dental or medical insurance for the Radiology Report. You can bill dental insurance for the included Image Report. The appropriate procedure codes to use are as follows:

Radiology Report

  • CDT/Dental: D0391 (“Interpretation of diagnostic image by a practitioner not associated with capture of the image, including report.”)
  • CPT/Medical: 76140 (“Consultation on x-ray examination made elsewhere, written report.”)

Image Report (included in each radiology report)

  • ADA/Dental: D0363 (“Three-dimensional image reconstruction using existing data, includes multiple images.”)

Please note that True View Dental Radiology does not file insurance claims. We cannot assist you with filing claims beyond providing you with the appropriate CDT and CPT codes to use when filing a claim for our services.

Can patients pay you directly?

  • No. When you are prompted to input a credit card, you must enter a practice credit card as we will keep the card information on file for your convenience when submitting future cases. We cannot charge patients’ credit cards or send patients invoices for our services. It is your practice’s responsibility to charge the patient.

What devices can I view my Radiology Report on?

  • Your Radiology Report can be viewed on any PC or Mac device that has an internet connection. E.g. Laptop, desktop, mobile phone, or tablet.
